Former Kasabian member Tom Meighan has booked a second gig in Hartlepool following success at his earlier show on the 3rd of April. The 43 year old is currently doing a uk solo tour which has taken him all over the country, and has recently announced he will be performing a second show at The Studio on Sunday 19th May. 60

His recent show covered a wide range of music from across his career, spanning from his old Kasabian classics to his first solo albulm, "The Reckoning".86

Tom Meighan featured in Kasabian as the lead singer and band front man in the 2000s and 2010s, and his debut performance in hartlepool as a solo artist earlier this year sold out in four days 121, and the successfulness of this show was a clear sign of why he should be brought back despite the long waiting li During his Kasabian days, Meighan sold four million albulms, celebrated 5 consecutive number one albulms and performed internationally, all across the globe. He has been active on the music scene since 1997 and specialises in indie rock and electronica, making him able to cultivate a thriving and committed fanbase - so it's no wonder he was able to sell out so quickly; and it's no suprise that people wanted him back.

An event like this means a lot for the town - "i've always been a fan of his work, and i'm glad he's coming to Hartlepool. It makes me feel very seen to know he's aware of his fanbase here and appreciative of how much we love him. We really do have a brilliant music scene here and it's great to see us getting recognition for that." enthuses 26 year old Hartlepool resident and lifelong Kasabian fan Beryll Elrhod.
