LAST week, I made an interesting visit to Sir James and Lady Graham’s house Norton Conyers (D&S Times, July 17). What made it unique was meeting and talking to the delightful couple.
As well as the relaxing and homely atmosphere, the three lady guides were most helpful.
I have a great interest in the lives of the Brontes, so visiting a house that Charlotte Bronte had known was fascinating.
I know that Sir James and Lady Graham have put a lot of work and time into restoring the house and the work still continues and I look forward to hopefully visiting it again in the future.
