Crowds up for a quacking time gathered in one North Yorkshire town today to witness and take part in the annual duck race - take a look at our pictures.
A bright yellow wave of over 2,000 yellow rubber duckies flooded the River Swale in Richmond today (May 6) for the annual duck race.
Organised by the Richmond Duck Club, the lucky ducky to win the number one spot took home a whopping £400, with second and third taking home £200 and £100 respectively.
The ducks were poured out of a box from Green Bridge and then fought it out downstream to the finishing line at the Batts near the Station Bridge.
The annual event takes place every year on the May Day bank holiday and this year crowds could be seen leaning into the river searching for their duck and hoping to take home the prize.
Pictures also show the swarm of ducks, clumped together, tackling a small bend in the river as spectators cheered on, eagerly hoping their little bird would take home the top prize.
