SIMPSON Emily "GG" Hutton Rudby farmer's wife Emily Simpson will be raising a glass with family and friends this weekend as we wish her a wonderful 100th birthday! Born 14.07.1924 in Welbury, she later married Tim (Septimus) and they settled at Windy Hill in 1961, where she lives today. They had two children together, Timothy and Susan, and she has five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Emily loves crafts, pottery painting, tapestry, wood work and played bowls in the village for many years. Now, ailing very little except poor eyesight, she enjoys the quiet life. Happy Birthday GG.
