NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER
NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH NO. 18, CARPERBY DIVERSION ORDER 2012
The above Order was made on 2 November, 2012. The effect of the Order will be to divert public Footpath No. 18, running from a point within a field, approximately 160 metres south, south east of West Grove Farm, Carperby, (GR SE 0069 8955), travelling generally in a north, north westerly direction on a gentle downhill slope, levelling out before passing between buildings and through the farmyard to join the County Road in Carperby village, onto a line running from the same point south, south east of West Grove Farm in a north, north easterly direction for approximately 74 metres to a pedestrian gate in the boundary wall, continuing north and north, north westerly for approximately 96 metres to join Footpath No. 16, Carperby as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Office at Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn DL8 3EL until 14 December, 2012. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased there and at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at ‘Colvend’, Hebden Road, Grassington, Skipton BD23 5LB, at a reasonable cost. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to The Solicitor, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, DL8 3EL not later than 14 December, 2012. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
