TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 257 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981, SECTION 53A(2)
(PUBLIC FOOTPATHS NO. 13 BISHOP MIDDLEHAM PARISH & No. 23 CORNFORTH PARISH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2012
The above order was made on 29 November 2012, the effect of which will be to divert Public Footpath No. 13 Bishop Middleham ("FP13") from a point to the west of Highland House, proceeding north westerly to the parish boundary and Public Footpath No. 23 Cornforth ("FP23"), onto a line running from the same point west of Highland House west south westerly, before turning north and running alongside the A1(M) to the parish boundary, and divert FP23 from a point on the parish boundary and FP13, proceeding generally north westerly to Stobb Cross Lane onto a line running from the parish boundary alongside the A1(M) northerly to Stobb Cross Lane, as shown on the order plan, a copy of which may be viewed with the Order free of charge at County Hall, Durham Mon-Fri 9am-4pm and at Ferryhill Library during normal opening hours. Copies of the Order and map may be bought there at the price of £1.15.
Any representation about or objection to the Order may be forwarded in writing to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham, DH1 5UL or by email to Highways.orders@durham.gov.uk (ref: 92468), no later than 4 January 2013. Please state the grounds on which it is made. If no such representations or objections to the Order are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council of Durham may its self confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
