(C75 PEAKFIELD BANK, BUCKLER DALE, FROSTERLEY. WEARDALE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2012 |
The Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order under the provisions of S.14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close to vehicular traffic a 410m length of the C75 Peakfield Bank easterly from its junction with the entrance to Peak Field and East Peak Field Farm, Frosterley to enable embankment and road carriageway reconstruction/alignment works to be executed.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under | the Order is 18 months and is from Monday 7 January 2013 and for the duration of the works, anticipated to be a minimum of 4 weeks. For operational reasons, on occasions, closures may be necessary on dates other than those set out above and where this occurs they will be signed accordingly.
An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic from the western side of the closure from the junction of C75 and C76 northerly onto A689 at Frosterley then westerly along A689 to the junction with C75 at Shittlehope Burn leading to the eastern side of the closure, and vice versa.
