NOTICE OF PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY

Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

Notice is hereby given that an Inspector will be appointed
by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine the Darlington Borough Council Definitive Map and Statement (Public Footpath No.20 Hurworth) Modification Order 2011 and will attend at the Hurworth Grange Community Centre, Hurworth Road, Hurworth Place, Darlington DL2 2BN on Tuesday 26 February 2013 at 10.00am to hold a public local inquiry into the Order The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications, will be to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for Darlington Borough Council by adding to it the following path: A footpath running from OS Grid Reference NZ 29058-09827, off Hurworth Road, Hurworth Place, Darlington then through the car park of Croft Workingmen's Club to the riverside track adjacent to the River Tees, heading in a southerly direction following the track to the Tees Bridge Railway Viaduct, then under the Viaduct and finishing at OS Grid Reference NZ 29121-09199. The width of the footpath is 3 metres. The footpath is to be known as Public Footpath No. 20 Hurworth.
