NOTICE OF MAKING OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER

HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH NO. 42, ARKENGARTHDALE DIVERSION ORDER 2013

The above Order, made on 22 February, 2013, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the public Footpath No. 42 running from a point on the track north of Scar Lodge, Langthwaite at GR NZ 0026 0276, north for a distance of approx.12 metres to GR NZ 0026 0278 to a line bypassing the track by approx. 14 metres at GR NZ 0026 0276, north, north westerly to a bridle gate and bearing north, north easterly to rejoin the track at GR NZ 0026 0278, as shown on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Office at Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 3EL until 5 April, 2013. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained there and at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Office at “Colvend”, Hebden Road, Grassington, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 5LB, free of charge. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to The Solicitor, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority, Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 3EL not later than 5 April, 2013. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
