NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER
NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH NO.42, ARKENGARTHDALE DIVERSION ORDER 2013 On 11 April, 2013 theYorkshire Dales National Park Authority contirmed the aboveOrder made under Section119 of the Highways Act1980.
The eftect of the Order as contirmed is to divert the public Footpath No.42 running from apoint on the track north of Scar Lodge, Langthwaite at Grid ReferenceNZ0026 0276, north for a distance of approximately 12 metres to Grid Reference NZ0026 0278 to a line bypassing the track by approximately 14 metres at Grid Reference NZ0026 0276, north, north westerly to a bridlegateand bearing north, north easterly to rejoin the track at Grid Reference NZ 0026 0278, as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours
at theYorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leyburn, NorthYorkshire DL8 3EL until 31 May, 2013. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained there and at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at "Colvend", Hebden Road, Grassington, Skipton, NorthYorkshire BD23 5LB:free of charge.
TheOrder comes into force at the end of 100 days from the date of confirmation, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to queston its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under theAct has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2of Schedule2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 19April, 2013, make an applicaton to the High Court.
