NOTICE OF CONFIRMING OF A DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION

NOTICE OF CONFIRMING OF A DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK
AUTHORITY NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
FOOTPATH 15 WHORLTON (HUTHWAITE GREEN) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2012
The above named Order made on the 2 November 2012 under Section 53 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 was confirmed without modification by the North York Moors National Park Authority on 2 May 2013.
The effect of the Order is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by showing the footpath to Perish Crook commencing on the unclassified road to the north-west of the farm, rather than passing through the garden as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Stokesley Post Office, 44 High Street, Stokesley, Middlesbrough, TS9 5DQ until 5 July 2013. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting the Director of Democratic & Legal Services, Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG. The Order came operative on the 2 May 2013 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, make an application to the High Court.
