NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER
SECTION 53 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981
NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY
THE NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
BRIDLEWAY 3 THIRLBY (THIRLBY BANK) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2012
On 10 May 2013, the North York Moors National Park Authority confirmed (without any modification) the above Order. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the definitive map and statement for the area by recording the correct winding slant path up Thirlby Bank, as shown on the Order map.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at The Post Office 26 Market Place Thirsk North Yorkshire YO7 1LB until 03 August 2013. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased at a reasonable cost by contacting the Director of Democratic & Legal Services, Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, St Nicholas Street, Scarborough, North Yorkshire, YO11 2HG. The Order came into force on 10 May 2013 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 21 June 2013, make an application to the High Court.
