DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2013
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The Order, which comes into effect on the 21st October 2013, will amend the Darlington Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) Consolidation Order 2012 as follows:-
1. To remove the No Stopping on School Entrance Marking Mon-Fri 8am-4pm from Longfield Road.
2. To introduce no waiting and no loading/unloading at any time in part of Alderman Leach Drive.
3. To introduce no waiting and no loading/unloading Mon-Fri 8.30am-9.15am and 2.45pm-3.45pm in part of Highside Road and to amend the description of the same restriction in respect of the west side of Millbank.
4. To introduce no waiting at any time in parts of Alderman Best Way, Allington Way, Barnes Close, Barnes Road, Bob Harrison Court, Bushel Hill Court, Bushel Hill Drive, Carlbury Crescent, Carleton Drive, Chester Grove, Claxton Avenue, Collingsway, Conyers Avenue, Conyers Close, Conyers Grove, Dudley Road, Edgecombe Drive, Edward Pease Way, Fulthorpe Avenue, Fulthorpe Close, Henson Road, High Green, Kellaw Road, Kew Rise, Lazenby Crescent, Lingfield Way, Lunedale Road, Major Street, McMullen Road, Morton Road, Mowden Hall Drive, North Road Bowman Street and Thompson Street West Back Street, North Road West Back, Nunnery Lane, Pendleton Road South, Redmire Close, Staindrop Road, Wild Road and Wilton Drive; and to amend the description of the same restriction in respect of Brankin Road, St John's Crescent and The Broadway.
Thenoticewhich waspublishedonthe23rdAugust2013in respectofthisOrderalso indicated that it is proposed to amend the description of the No Stopping on School Entrance Marking Mon-Fri 8am-4pm in respect of Neasham Road, Middleton St George; and to introduce no waiting at any time in part of Teeswater and Brinkburn Road and parts of the following roads in MSG - Chapel Street, Dinsdale Close, Middleton Lane, Neasham Road, Pounteys Close, Station Road, Thorntree Gardens and Thorntree Villas. The decision on whether or not to proceed with these changes has been deferred; a further notice will be published if these changes are to be implemented. A notice containing full details of the changes can be located at wwwdarlington.gov.uk/trafficorders. A copy of the Order may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision of it on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from the date of this notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
