DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL - VARIATION OF CARPARK CHARGES

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 35C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that Darlington Borough Council proposes to vary the charges for the use of the off-street parking places from Monday to Saturday 8am-6pm at Hird Street, Park Place East and West and St Hilda's. Current charges - £1 for a max of one hour; anything over an hour is £4 for the day; weekly ticket £16. The changes to come into effect on the 13th January 2014 are that tickets can be bought for multiples of an hour at £1 per hour or part thereof; and that multiple daily tickets can be bought at £4 for one day; £8 for two days; £12 for three days and £16 for a week. The £16 must be paid in one payment to count for a week. Sunday will remain at £1 for the day. The Darlington Borough Council (Off Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2012 (as amended) is hereby varied as detailed.
