PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT WITHIN THE SETTING OF A LISTED BUILDING

I give notice that Corporate Director CYPS is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for removal of 4 no. temporary classroom units, demolition of redundant bungalow and outbuildings, felling of 7 no. trees, widening of existing vehicular entrance gate with pedestrian access added. Construction of a new 2 storey modular building with ground floor link to existing 6th Form building. 4 no. new TCU's to be installed for duration of site works. (approx. 11 weeks). All to include site development and landscape works.
In the opinion of the County Planning Authority, the proposal affects the setting of Ripon Grammar School, 16 Clotherholme Road, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 2DG, a building which has been listed as of special architectural or historic interest.
Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Harrogate Borough Council, Planning Department, Knapping Mount, West Grove Road, Harrogate during all reasonable hours until 8 January 2014. The application may be viewed using the Online Planning Register on the County Council's web-site www.northyorks.gov.uk
