NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
(WENSLEY TO REDMIRE ROAD) ORDER 2014 NO 8 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along so much of the Wensley to Redmire road in the District of Richmondshire as passes over the bridge over the Wensleydale Railway Line near Preston under Scar, plus an approximate distance of 100 metres on each side of the bridge, due to works for the reconstruction of the Railway Bridge.
The maximum duration of the Order will be from 20/01/14 until 30/11/14 inclusive, however it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken over three weeks from 20/01/14 during this timescale. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs and a local alternative route will be signed on site.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times and vehicular access to premises will be maintained by arrangement with the contractor.
