TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
(VARIOUS LOCATIONS IN THE RICHOMDSHIRE DISTRICT) ORDER 2014 NO 38 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following locations in the District of Richmondshire due to pre surface dressing carriageway patching works:-
Site 3 - Road through Thornton Rust (Between Cubeck and the A684 at Aysgarth) Site 4 - Village Street, Newbiggin (Bishopdale) (The entire length from the B6160) Site 6 - Low Lane, Wensley (From its junction with the A684, eastwards to its junction with the A6108)
Site 7 - Wild Hill Lane, Hunton (From Hunton to its junction with the A684 at Akebar) Site 8 - A6108 at Walburn Head (From its junction with Stainton Lane, northwards for
an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Site 9 - Village Street, Downholme (From its junction with the A6108, eastwards for
an approximate distance of 500 metres) Site 10 - A6108 at Downholme (From its junction with the B6270, southwards for
an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Site 11 - B6270 West Of Downholme (From 'Eddy's Bridge', eastwards
for an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Site 12 - Hardstiles, west of Marske (From a point approximately 500 metres west
of its junction with Stelling Road / Crook Bank Lane,
for an approximate distance of 2500 metres in an easterly direction) Site 16 - B6271 at Bolton On Swale (From its junction with the road to Forest,
south eastwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Site 18 - Back Lane, Moulton (From its junction with the village street, eastwards for
an approximate distance of 2000 metres) Site 19 - Back Lane / Moulton Lane, east of Moulton (From its junction with the road
to East Cowton, eastwards to the junction in Dalton Gates) Site 20 - Road leading past Village Hall, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with
Middleton Tyas Lane, northwards to its junction with Five Hills Lane)
School Bank, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with the One Way Street,
south eastwards for an approximate distance of 1250 metres) Site 21 - Five Hills Lane, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with Kneeton Lane,
north eastwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Site 22 - Richmond Road, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with Five Hills Lane,
eastwards for an approximate distance of 2000 metres) Site 23 - Village Street, Kirkbridge / Stanwick St John (From its junction with the
Forcett to Aldbrough St John road, southwards for an approximate distance
of 1000 metres) Site 24 - Forcett to Aldbrough St John road (The entire length)
Site 25 - Road which passes adjacent to Carlton (From its junction with the Forcett to
Aldbrough St John road, eastwards to its junction with Brick Kiln Lane) Site 26 - Brick Kiln Lane, Aldbrough St John (From its junction with Greystone Lane,
southwards for its entire length) The maximum duration of the Order will be from 10.02.14 until 30.11.14 inclusive however it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken for a period of 2 or 3 days at each location within the above timescale. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs and local alternative routes will be signed on site.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times and vehicular access to premises will be maintained whenever possible.
