DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 3) ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made ar Order under Sections 1,2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The Order, which comes into effect on 24 February 2014, will amend the Darlington Borough Counci (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) Consolidation Order 2012 asfollows:-
1. To amend the No Stopping on School Entrance Marking Mon-Fr 8am-4pm in respect of Neasham Road, Middleton St George
2.To introduce no waiting at anytime in parts of the following roads in MiddletonStGeorge: Chapel Street, Dinsdale Close, Middleton Lane, Neasham Road, Pounteys Close, Station Road, Thorntree Gardens and Thorntree Villas

These amendments were originally proposed in a Notice published on 23 August 2013 and were to be part of a larger Order. The changes proposed in that Notice in relation to Chapel Street have been amended to take account of objections received. The amendments in that Notice relating to Tees water and Brinkburn Road are no longer to be made.The other amendments contained in that Notice were made by the Darlington Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading) Consolidation Order 2012 (Amendment No.2) Order 2013 on 16 October 2013. A Notice containing full details of this Order can be located at www.darlington.gov.uk/trafficorders. A copy of the Order may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or any provision of it on the grounds that it is not within the power of the relevant section of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or of any requirement of that Act or any enactment made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may within six weeks from thedate of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose.
