Notice of Confirmation of a Definitive Map Modification Order

Footpath No 20.56/25, Off Mill Lane, Redmire Modification Order 2012

On 31 January 2014 the Secretary of State confirmed the above named Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map by adding the Footpath No 20.56/25, starting on Mill Lane at GR SE0473 9036 proceeding south easterly via the stone stile in the wall boundary at GR SE0474 9036, following the field edge in a generally easterly direction for approximately 35 metres to its junction with Footpath No 20.56/6 at GR SE0477 9037. A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Leyburn Library North Yorkshire until 21 March 2014. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased there at a reasonable cost. The Order comes into force on 31 January 2014, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Schedule 12 to the Act, within six weeks from 21 February 2014, make an application to the High Court.
