(TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS) (VARIOUS LOCATIONS, RICHMONDSHIRE AREA) ORDER 2014 NO 60
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along the following locations in the District of Richmondshire due to the A1 upgrade, to reduce associated hazards for highway users during construction: -
1. A6136 Catterick North, the Northbound and Southbound slips from their junction with the A1 to Gatherley Road and on Gatherley Road in a Southerly direction to Holly Villa

2. A6136 Catterick Road, from Catterick Racecourse in a South Westerly direction for 1100 metres

3. A6136 Catterick Lane, From C36 Catterick Lane in a North Easterley direction to Marne Barracks roundabout and to existing 30mph restriction on Leeming Lane

4. A6108 Barracks Bank, from Scotch Corner roundabout in a Southerly and South Westerly direction for 1200 metres

5. B6271 Station Road, from the existing 30mph restriction in an Easterly direction to the A6136 junction

6. B6272 Bridge Road, from the existing 30mph restriction in an Easterly direction to the A6136 junction

7. C1 Scurragh House Lane, from the A1 in an Easterly direction for 800 metres

8. C108 Scurragh Lane, from the A1 in a Westerly direction for 800 metres

9. C6 Middleton Tyas Lane, from Scotch Corner Roundabout in an Easterly direction to the existing 30mph restriction

10. C36 Catterick Lane, from C37 Tunstall Road in an Easterly and Southerly direction to Limekilns Farm

11. C37 Tunstall Road, from existing 30mph restriction Catterick Village in a South Westerly direction for 920 metres

12. C40 Low Street, from the A1 in an Easterly and South Easterly direction for 800 metres.

13. C132 Bowbridge Lane, from the A1 in a westerly direction for 800 metres

The maximum duration of the Order will be from 03/03/14 until 01/09/15 inclusive however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force whenever and wherever required during the Order period.
