DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (THOMPSON STREET WEST SOUTH BACK) ORDER 2014

Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1,2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order will be as follows:-
1. To introduce no waiting at any time in the following lengths of Thompson Street West South Back - the south side, from a point opposite the eastern boundary 175 Thompson StWestwestwards for a distance of 17m;

the east side, from its junction with Longfield Rd southwards for a distance of 5m and from a point 16m south of its junction with Longfield Rd southwards and eastwards for a distance of 16m and the west side, from its junction with Longfield Rd southwards for a distance of 16m.
2. To designate the following length of Thompson Street West South Back as a one way street - from a point 28m south of its junction with Longfield Rd eastwards to its junction with Thompson St West.

Full details of the Order are contained in the draft Order which, together with the plan and statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington. If you wish to object to the proposals contained in the Order you should send the grounds of your objection in writing to the Borough Solicitor Town Hall, Darlington DL1 5QT (Ref: AE) or by e-mail to traffic.orders@darlington.gov.uk stating the grounds on which theyaremadeby21 March2014.
