DIVERSION ORDER 2014
The above named Order made on the 24th March 2014 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the lengths of public footpath and bridleway described in Part 1 of the Schedule to the routes described in Part 2 of the Schedule below. The width of each existing footpath and bridleway is unspecified; the width of the new footpath will be 2m and the new bridleway will be 3m. A copy of the Order and the Order Maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and Maps may be bought there at the price of 30p. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Borough Solicitor, Darlington Borough Council, Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington DL1 5QT (ref: AE) not later than the 2nd May 2014. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Darlington Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

From OS Grid Reference NZ23360/15719 south southwest for 217m to NZ23278/15520 where it connects with Footpath No. 4
Bridleway No. 1
From NZ23096/15780 eastwards for 276m to NZ23360/15719, then northwards for 748m toNZ23450/16450
PART 2
Footpath No. 3
From NZ22996/15636 east south east for 103m to NZ23083/15598 to connect with Footpath 4.
Bridleway No. 1
From NZ23096/15780 northwards, following the bank of Ulnaby Beck for 764m to NZ23237/16428 where it meets the disused railway line, then eastwards for 207m to connect with the existing bridleway at NZ23450/16450
