(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) (VARIOUS LOCATIONS, DISTRICT OF RICHMONDHSIRE) ORDER 2014 NO 131
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following locations, in the District of Richmondshire due to surface dressing of the carriageway-Site 1 - A6108 at Walburn Head (From its junction with Stainton Lane, northwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres)
Site 2 - A6108 at Downholme (From its junction with the B6270, southwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres)
Site 3 - A6136, Richmond Road, Catterick Garrison (From its junction to Holly Hill to the roundabout at Hipswell Road)
Site 8 - B6160, Ellers Lane, West Burton (From West Burton, northwards for an approximate distance of 1500 metres)
Site 10 - B6270, Reeth to Healaugh (From its junction with High Lane, eastwards for an approximate distance of 1750 metres)
Site 11 - B6270 West of Downholme (From 'Eddy's Bridge', eastwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres)
Site 14 & 15 - Back Lane, Moulton (From its junction with the village street, eastwards for
an approximate distance of 2000 metres)
Sites 17, 18, 19 & 20 - Road through Thornton Rust (Between Cubeck and the A684 at Aysgarth) Sites 21, 22 & 23 - Grinton to Leyburn Road (From its junction with the B6270,
southwards for an approximate distance of 3500 metres)
Sites 24, 25, 26 & 27 - Hardstiles, west of Marske (From a point approximately 500 metres west of its junction with Stelling Road / Crook Bank Lane, for an approximate distance of
2500 metres in an easterly direction)
Sites 30, 31, 32, 91, 92 & 93 - Village Street, Downholme (From its junction with the
A6108, eastwards for an approximate distance of 500 metres)
Site 36 - Breconbar to Askrigg road (From its junction to Bainbridge, eastwards for an
approximate distance of 1100 metres)
Site 41 - Redmire to Wensley road (From its junction to Scarth Nick, eastwards for an
approximate distance of 1000 metres)
Sites 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48 & 49 - Road which passes through West Scrafton and Coverham (From its junction with the Carlton to Horsehouse road, eastwards to its junction with Coverham Lane)
Sites 51 & 52 - School Bank and Moulton Road, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with the One Way Street, south eastwards for an approximate distance of 1500 metres)
Site 53 - Road leading past Village Hall, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with Middleton Tyas Lane, northwards to its junction with Five Hills Lane)
Site 57 & 58 - Wild Hill Lane, Hunton (From Hunton to its junction with the A684 at Akebar)
Site 59 - Five Hills Lane, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with Kneeton Lane, north eastwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres)
Sites 60, 61 & 62 - Richmond Road, Middleton Tyas (From its junction with Five Hills Lane, eastwards for an approximate distance of 2000 metres) Site 67 - Ronaldshay Close, Richmond (The entire length)
Site 68 - Ronaldshay Drive, Richmond (The entire length) Site 69 - Zetland Drive, Richmond (The entire length)
Site 70 - Aske Avenue, Richmond (The entire length)

Forcett to Aldbrough St John road, eastwards to its junction with Brickkiln Lane)
Site 105 - Village Street, Kirkbridge / Stanwick St John (From its junction with the Forcett to Aldbrough St John road, southwards for an approximate distance of 1000 metres) Sites 106, 107 & 108 - Back Lane / Moulton Lane, east of Moulton (From its junction with
the road to East Cowton, eastwards to the junction in Dalton Gates)
Sites 109 & 110 - No Man's Moor Lane, Newton-le-Willows (From its junction with
Marriforth Lane, eastwards for an approximate distance of 2500 metres)
Sites 111, 112 & 113 - Road from Gunnerside to Ivelet ( From its junction with the B6270, westwards for an approximate distance of 1500 metres)
Sites 117, 118 & 119 - Low Lane, Wensley (From its junction with the A684, eastwards to its junction with the A6108)
Site 123 - Village Street, Newbiggin (Bishopdale) (The entire length from the B6160)
Site 125 - Village Street, Caldbergh (From its junction with the West Scrafton to Coverham
road for an approximate distance of 320 metres)
The maximum duration of the Order will be from 28.04.14 until 30.11.14 inclusive however
it is envisaged that the works will be undertaken for various lengths of time during the timescale above. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs and a local alternative route will be signed on site.
Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times and vehicular access to
