NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER

Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Darlington Borough Council Definitive Map and Statement (Public Footpath No. 63 Darlington) Modification Order 2012

The above named Order, made on the 2nd October 2012, was confirmed without modifications by an Inspector acting for the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on the 30th May 2014. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement by adding to them a footpath running from OS Grid Reference NZ 28714-14296 at Grange Road then through a covered alley way adjacent to 21 Grange Road for a total approximate distance of 22 metres and finishing at Beaumont Street West OS Grid Reference NZ 28736-14292.
Acopyofthe Order and the Order Map havebeen placed and maybe seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Darlington, from 9am to 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and Map maybe bought there at a price of20p. The Order becomes operativeas from the date on which it was confirmed, but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validitythereof, or ofanyprovision contained therein, on the ground thatitis notwithin the powers ofthe Wildlife and Countryside Act1981, or on the ground thatanyrequirementofthe Act, or anyregulation made thereunder, has notbeen complied with in relation to the Order, he may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 of the Act within 42 days from the date of this notice make application for the purpose of the High Court.
