DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL
(PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 1 PARISH OF WHESSOE) DIVERSION ORDER 2014

The above named Order made on the 22nd August 2014 under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 will divert the length of public footpath described in Schedule 1 to the route described in Schedule 2 below. The length of footpath is across Low Beaumont Hill Farm, adjacent to the East Coast Main Line. A copy of the Order and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington from 9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and Map may be bought there at the price of 30p. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to the Borough Solicitor, Darlington Borough Council, Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington DL1 5QT (ref: AE) not later than the 26th September 2014. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Darlington Borough Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

Footpath No. 1
Starting at Point A (NZ 29796 18561) then south for approximately 100 metres along the west side of the East Coast Main Line to Point B (NZ 29827 18475). The width is unspecified.
SCHEDULE 2
Footpath No. 1
Starting at Point A (NZ 29796 18561), then east for approximately 6 metres to Point C (NZ 29804 18565), then south for approximately 100 metres to Point D (NZ 29836 18475). The width is 2 metres.
