PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AFFECTING A LISTED BUILDING WITHIN A CONSERVATION AREA

Proposed development at Spennithorne CEP School, Spennithorne, Leyburn.
I give notice that Spennithorne CEP School is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for Erection of a canopy.
In the opinion of the County Planning Authority, the proposal affects Spennithorne CEP School, Spennithorne, Leyburn, a building which has been listed as of special architectural or historic interest.
The part of Spennithorne within which the proposed development is situated has been designated a Conservation Area under the above Act as the area is of special architectural or historic interest the character of which it is desirable to preserve or enhance.
Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Richmondshire District Council, Mercury House, Station House, Richmond, North Yorkshire during all reasonable hours until 26 December 2014. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit. The application may also be viewed using the Online Planning Register on the County Council's web-site www.northyorks.gov.uk
