YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY

PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OFCONFIRMATION OFAPUBLIC PATH ORDER HIGHWAYS ACT1980 YORKSHIRE DALES NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY FOOTPATH NO. 18REETH,FREMINGTON AND HEALAUGH DIVERSION ORDER 2014

On10December, 2014, theYorkshire Dales National Park Authority confirmed theabove Order made under Section 119oftheHighways Act1980.

Theeffect of theOrder asconfirmed is to divert thepublic footpath running from a point between Castle Farm and Heggs House, approximately 2 kilometres north, north west of Reeth, situate alongside Arkle Beck inThorn Dale atGrid Reference NZ0288 0126 and closely following the riverside north, north westerly for approximately 500metres onto a line running parallel from the same point northerly for approximately 70 metres before bearing north westerly for a further 424metres approximately, 10 Grid Reference NZ0261 0168,as shown on the Order map.

A copy of the Order as confirmed and theOrder map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at Yoredale, Bainbridge, Leybum, North Yorkshire Dl8 3EL until 31 January, 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained there and at the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority Office at 'Colvend', Hebden Road, Grassington, Skipton BD23 5LB, free of charge.

The Order comes into force on the 10 December, 2014, but if a person aggrieved bythe Order wants toquestion its validity) or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation tothe Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from 19 December, 2014, make an application to the High Court.
