NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED RESTRICTION (VARIOUS ROADS, BROMPTON ON SWALE) ORDER 2015 NO 28
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council intends, after at least seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30 mph along the following locations, in the District of Richmondshire in connection with temporary traffic management for a road closure:- A6136 Gatherley Road / A6136 Leeming Lane From its junction with the slip road leading from the Southbound Carriageway of the A1(T) at Catterick North Interchange, southwards to a point approximately 350 metres south east of its junction with the A6136 Catterick Road at Catterick Bridge B6271 (Road To Scorton)
From its junction with the A6136 Gatherley Road, eastwards for an approximate distance of350 metres A6136 (A1(T) Overbridge - Catterick North Interchange) From its junction with the A6136 Gatherley Road, westwards for an approximate distance of375 metres The maximum duration of the Order will be from 01.03.15 until 31.08.16 inclusive however it is envisaged that the restriction will be in force within the above timescale. The Temporary Maximum Speed Limit will be introduced whenever and wherever on the affected lengths ofroad by the placement of appropriate signs. During such times, the appropriate part of the following Traffic Regulation Order will be suspended: 'North Yorkshire County Council (30 Mph and 40 Mph Speed Limits) (Various Roads, Brompton on Swale / Catterick Bridge) Order 2000'.
