NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (PROHIBITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES EXCEPT FOR ACCESS) (COLBURN VILLAGE) ORDER 2015

NOTICE is hereby given that on 3 August 2015 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1), 2(2) and 3(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from proceeding along the roads in Colburn Village specified in the table below, except for access to premises or land adjacent to those roads in circumstances detailed in the said Order (N.B. This Order continues in force indefinitely the provisions of the Experimental Order which came into operation on 10 February 2014).

A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 8 August 2015, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Colburn Library, The Broadway, Colburn, Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire DL9 4RF during normal office hours from 7 August 2015 to 14 September 2015 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks of 3 August 2015 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
