Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion
Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Footpath No. 10.38/6, Bellvue Farm, Deighton Diversion Order 2015
The above Order, made on 16 December 2015 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath described below and modify The District of Hambleton (Outside the North York Moors National Park) Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath No. 10.38/6, commencing at its junction with Main Street, Deighton, Grid Reference NZ3810 0178, and running generally west for approximately 277 metres to Grid Reference NZ3782 0180 on to a new route commencing at Grid Reference SE3802 0182 and running west for approximately 30 metres to Grid Reference NZ3799 0182, then south-west for approximately 48 metres to Grid Reference NZ3795 0180, then westfor approximately130 metres to the same end point at Grid Reference NZ3782 0180.
A copy of the Order and Order map may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Northallerton Library, 1 Thirsk Rd, Northallerton, DL6 1PT until 5 February 2016. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices. Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Andy Hunter, Waste & Countryside Services at the above address to arrive not later than 5 February 2016. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
