NORTH YORK MOORS NATIONAL PARK AUTHORITY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS)

Footpath 27 Bilsdale Midcable (Chop Gate Toilets) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 – Section 14(1) (as amended) The North York Moors National Park Authority intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which is to make the following closure in the parish of Bilsdale Midcable in the District of Hambleton: No pedestrian shall proceed along footpath 27 Bilsdale Midcable, commencing in Chop Gate car park beside Raisdale Beck at Grid Reference SE 5586 9930 (Point A) and proceeding west-north-west for 36 metres (m) to the edge of the site at Grid Reference SE 5583 9931 (Point B). The alternative route from the car park is to commence at Point C Grid Reference SE 5588 9931, proceed west-north-west for 66 metres passing between the toilets and the village hall to Grid Reference SE 5584 9933 Point D and turn south-south west for 25 metres inside the site boundary to the point of closure Grid Reference SE 5583 9931 (Point B) and return. The closure will be put into effect by means of the erection of notices and signs. Likely duration of the work is I month The Order is necessary due to danger to the public from site excavations associated with the installation of a package water treatment plant.
