(TEMPORARY 30MPH AND 10MPH SPEED RESTRICTIONS)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) (STAPLETON BANK TO BLACKWELL ROUNDABOUT) ORDER 2016 NO 78
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1) (as amended)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in excess of 30mph along the following roads in the Cleasby and Stapleton Parish, in the District of Richmondshire; Stapleton Bank (from 300 metres southwest of Blackwell Roundabout to Stapleton Manor), Cleasby Road, Cleasby Lane, Strawgate Lane, The Green, Hillside and Old Bank, (for 10 metres from their junction with Stapleton Bank). There will also be a 10mph speed restriction along Stapleton Bank, for 330 metres from the Blackwell Roundabout for a temporary period of 28 days between 29th February 2016 and 27th March 2016. In addition, the Order will prohibit any pedestrian from using the Stapleton Bank to Blackwell Roundabout Footway (subject to access to premises), due to the conversion of existing footway into a shared cycle/footway. The restrictions and closure will be put into effect by notices and signs.
