NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM (PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY NO. 33 SEDGEFIELD PARISH) PUBLIC PATH DIVERSION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2016
The above order, made on 11/03/16, under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert the Public Bridleway No. 33 Sedgefield Parish running from a point on Foxton Lane, proceeding in a southerly then a south westerly direction through Foxton Farm then in a westerly direction to a point west of Foxton Farm onto a line running from a point on Bridleway No. 31, west of Foxton Lane proceeding in a south south-westerly then a south easterly direction to the same point west of Foxton Farm, as shown on the order map. The above order will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement of the Public Rights of Way for County Durham by deleting and adding the bridleway described.

WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF DURHAM (PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 34 SEDGEFIELD PARISH) PUBLIC PATH CREATION AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDER 2016
The above order, made on 11/03/16, under section 26 of the Highways Act 1980, will create a public footpath from a point on Foxton Lane running in a south easterly direction to a point immediately south west of Foxton Farm, as shown on the order map. The above order will also modify the Definitive Map and Statement of the Public Rights of Way for County Durham by adding the footpath described.
A copy of the above 2 orders and the order maps have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Council's offices at Sedgefield library & County Hall, Durham during normal opening hours and via the Council website. Copies of the orders/maps may be bought there at the price of £1.15. Any representations about or objections to the orders may be sent in writing addressed to Loraine Holding, Legal Assistant, County Hall, Durham DH15UL or by email to Highways.orders@durham.gov.uk (quote ref: 8795) not later than 16/04/16. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, the County Council of Durham may confirm the orders as unopposed orders. If the orders are sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the orders.
