(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS, CYCLISTS AND HORSE RIDERS)
(TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 20.9/22/1, 20.9/7/2, 20.10/3/1, 20.9/17/1, 20.9/15/2 & PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS 20.10/7/1, 20.10/4/2, 20.12/8/1, 20.12/7/1 NEAR BROMPTON ON SWALE) ORDER 2015 NO 312 ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) (AS AMENDED)
North Yorkshire County Council has made an Order which is to continue in force, under Section 15(5) of the above Act, the provisions of the Order NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 20.9/22/1, 20.9/7/2, 20.10/3/1, 20.9/17/1, 20.9/15/2 & PUBLIC BRIDLEWAYS 20.10/7/1, 20.10/4/2, 20.12/8/1, 20.12/7/1 NEAR BROMPTON ON SWALE) ORDER 2015 NO 312 made on 29.09.15, the effect of which will be to prohibit any pedestrian, cyclist or horse rider from proceeding along Public Footpaths 20.9/22/1, 20.9/7/2, 20.10/3/1, 20.9/17/1, 20.9/15/2 & Public Bridleways 20.10/7/1, 20.10/4/2, 20.12/8/1, 20.12/7/1 near Brompton on Swale, in the District of Richmondshire due to safeguard the public from dangers caused by the construction sites for the upgrade of the A1 to motorway status.
The maximum duration of the Order will be from 01.04.16 until 31.03.17 inclusive and it is envisaged that the remainder of the works will be undertaken over this timescale. The closure will be put into effect by notices and signs and a local alternative route will be signed on site. Pedestrian access to premises will be maintained at all times.
