DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL

DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL (RESIDENTS PARKING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2), (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 8) AND (ON STREET PARKING PLACES) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012 (AMENDMENT NO. 2) ORDER 2016
On the 25th January 2016 Darlington Borough Council gave notice that it proposed to make an Order under Sections 1,2,4, 32,35,45,46,47,49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004 with the above title. Following consultation it still proposes to make that Order as set out but with the following amendments:-
1. The new residents parking areas on the north side of Rockingham Street will now be located (a) from the western boundary 23 Rockingham Street eastwards for a distance of 24 metres; and (b) from a point 3 metres east of its junction with Bedford Street eastwards for a distance of 24 metres;

2. The part of Witbank Road Hollyhurst Road Cross Back Street in which No Waiting and No Loading/Unloading at anytime is to be introduced will now be:- north side, from a point 0.7 metres to 4 metres west of its junction with Hollyhurst Road and from a point 15 metres west of its junction with Hollyhurst Road to its junction with Witbank Road;

3. The part of Bloomfield Road in which 2 hour limited waiting Mon-Sat 8am- 6pm is to be introduced will

now be:- the south side, from a point 10 metres to a point 31.5 metres west of its junction with Witbank Road
The Notice, draft Order, plans and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Order may be examined free of charge during the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday inclusive at the Town Hall, Feethams, Darlington. If you have any queries regarding the proposed changes please phone 01325-406708. If you wish to object to the proposals contained in the Order you should send your objection in writing to the Assistant Director Law and Governance, Town Hall, Darlington DL1 5QT (Ref: AE) or e-mail traffic.orders@darlington.gov.uk stating the grounds on which it is made by the 14th May 2016.
