(MOVING TRAFFIC) CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2012
(AMENDMENT NO. 7) ORDER 2016
Notice is hereby given that Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The effect of the Order, which comes into operation on the 1st August 2016, is:-
? to prohibit goods vehicles over 7.5 tonnes in the following part of Mill Lane Lane, Bishopton:- from a point 5 metres east of the centre of the bridge over Whitton Beck to the north side of the entrance to West House Farm

? to prohibit any vehicle the length ofwhich, including any load on or attached to the vehicle, exceeds 26ft 5" inches (8m) in the following part of Mill Lane Lane, Bishopton:-from a point 5m east of the centre of the bridge over Whitton Beckto a point 13m south of the southern building line of Bishopton Mill Farm

Noticeisherebygiven thatDarlington Borough Council has madean OrderunderSections 1,2, 4and 84oftheRoad Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of the Traffic Management Act 2004. The Order, which comes into operation on the 1st August2016, amendstheDarlington Borough Council (Moving Traffic) Consolidation Order 2012 in the following way:-
? To introduce 20mph speed limit in the roads listed in Schedule One below and part of Hawthorn Drive;

? To introduce or amend 30mph speed limit in parts ofthe roads listed in Schedule Two;

? To introduce 40mph speed limit in parts ofthe roads listed in Schedule Three;

? To introduce 50mph speed limit in parts ofthe roads listed in Schedule Four;

? To designate parts ofthe roads listed in Schedule Five de-restricted.

Thenoticewhichwaspublishedonthe22ndApril2016in respect of this Order also indicated that it is proposed to introducea40mphspeedlimitinpartofBurtreeLane. Thedecisiononwhetherornottoproceedwiththischange hasbeendeferred; afurthernoticewill bepublishedifthis changeistobeimplemented.Anoticecontainingfulldetailsof the changes is located at www.darlington.gov.uk/trafffcorders.
