NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR PLANNING PERMISSION TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT PROCEDURE) ORDER 2015 NOTICE UNDER ARTICLE 15

Application Number: NY/2016/0078/FUL Proposed development at Land forming part of Leases Farm Quarry, adjacent to A1(M) Leeming Bar, Northallerton, DL8 1DU.
I give notice that Highways England is applying to North Yorkshire County Council for planning permission for the redevelopment of part of Leases Farm Quarry for a permanent highways maintenance depot on 2.0 hectares of land within the Southern Area 'Area 2' of the approved Leases Farm Quarry Restoration Plan (planning permission Ref. C2/14/01390/CCC) comprising a new 15.5 m high domed salt store, garage (900 sq metres), external vehicle washdown area (125 sq. metres), brine saturator tank, fuel tanks, single storey office (420 sq. metres), external storage/hardstand area (1500 sq. metres), recycling bays (10 sq. metres), internal access road, car parking areas (1000 sq. metres), 20 No. 8 metre high lighting columns, 15 wall mounted lighting lumineres varying in heights of up to 5 metres, 1.8 m high palisade fence, two security gates and landscaping .
Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and other documents submitted with the application at Hambleton District Council, Planning Department, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton during all reasonable hours until 29 July 2016. Please note that this may require a prior appointment. You are advised to check with the Council before making your visit.
