Durham County Council - Further Report of Local Government Ombudsman
The Local Government Ombudsman has issued a further report following her investigation of a complaint against Durham County Council. The complaint was about a Planning & Development matter. The Ombudsman found that there had been fault on the part of the Council, and this had caused injustice to the complainants.
TheCouncilmustnow considerthe furtherreportandtellthe Ombudsman within three months (or such longer period as she may agree) what it proposes to do. Copies of the further report will be available for public inspection during normal office hours at County Hall, Durham DH1 5UL Mon-Fri 9am and 4pm and at Bishop Auckland Library for three weeks starting on 1 August 2016. Anyone is entitled to take copies of the report or extracts from it. Copies will be supplied at a reasonable charge.
