NORTH YORKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) (A684, SWINITHWAITE) ORDER 2016
NOTICE is hereby given that on 26 September 2016 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to prohibit any motor vehicle from travelling at a speed in excess of 40 miles per hour on any length of road specified in the table below.

From a point 80 metres north west of its junction with the north side of the southernmost vehicular access to West End Farm (measured along the western kerb line), eastwards to a point 70 metres east of its junction with the centre line of the easternmost vehicular access to Swinithwaite Hall (measured along the northern kerb line).

From its junction with the A684, southwards for a distance

of 57 metres from its westernmost junction with the A684 (measured along the centre line of the road) and including both legs adjacent to the area of green. A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 3 October 2016, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton and at Leyburn Library, Thornborough Hall, Leyburn, North Yorkshire DL8 5AB during normal office hours from 30 September 2016 until 7 November 2016 and also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/notices.
