METCALF Jane (Jennie) Peacefully on January 11, at The Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, aged 97 years, of Church Street, Harlaxton (formerly of Bowes Cross Farm). Dearly loved wife of Jim, a much loved Mother of Alwyn, Denis, Linda, Shirley, Irvin, Gillian, Robin and Janice, Mother in law of Margaret, Val, Pam and Ronald, Gran and Great Gran. Funeral service will take place at The Trinity Church, Barnard Castle on Thursday January 28, at 11.00am, followed by private burial. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired in memory of Jennie will be shared between The Salvation Army and The Rotary Foundation.
