BATES Of Carlton in Coverdale, Joan aged 64 years (died peacefully in hospital). Beloved wife of Colin and a dear sister of Edgar, Stella and Eileen. A family cremation service will be held at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, March 7 at 10.45a.m. A celebration of Joan's life to which all friends are invited will be held at Carlton Chapel on Monday, March 7 at 2.00p.m. Family flowers only please, donations in memory of Joan for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
