HARKER Peacefully on August 11, of Richmond and formerly of Hurst, George Edward aged 81 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Mary, very dear dad of Catherine and Melanie, much loved father-in-law of Steve and John and loving grandad of Ryan, Sammy, Zoe and Jamie. A private family graveside committal and interment will be held at St.Mary's Church, Hutton Magna. However a Service of Thanksgiving for George Edward's life, to which all are very welcome, will be held at Richmond Methodist Church on Monday, August 22, at 1.30pm. Anyone wishing to make a donation in lieu of flowers, in memory of George Edward, may do so for Abbey Care Home Residents Fund, Scorton either at the service or care of Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks, DL11 6HL.
