HESELTINE Michael Joseph aged 78 years of Scorton, former teacher at Scorton Grammar School, former Chairman of North Yorkshire County Council and Richmondshire District Council, died peacefully in hospital on December 30. To be received into St. Mary's Church, Bolton on Swale, on Tuesday, January 24, at 4.00p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 25, at 2.00p.m., followed by interment in Redcar Cemetery, next to the grave of his parents on Thursday, January 26, at 11.00a.m. Friends please meet at the church. Civic Chains may be worn at the Service. No flowers please. Donations if desired for the Friarage Hospital Scanner Appeal, The Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and The work of the Church in the Parish, these may be given on the plate in the church or sent care of John Blenkiron & Sons Ltd, Funeral Directors, Victoria House, 21 Queens Road, Richmond. DL10 4AJ. Refreshments will be served at The Black Bull, Moulton following Wednesday's service.
