STEPHENSON Desmond Peacefully in Mount Vale Care Home on January 16, Des aged 79 years of Northallerton, formerly of Scorton and Tilcon Quarry. Dearly loved husband of Jean, much loved dad of Andrew and Janet, father-in-law to Pam and Mark, loving grandad to Kaitlyn, Harry, Erin, George and Vanessa. A service of thanksgiving will take place in St. James Church, Romanby, on Thursday, February 2, at 12.15p.m. Will friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, can be made to Macmillan Nurses and the Stroke Unit, Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.
