BRIDGER On August 14, suddenly at home, of Underscar, Preston under Scar, formerly of Norton, George Walter aged 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean, dearly loved father of Jane, Susan and Jon and a very dear father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service at St Margaret's Church, Preston under Scar on Monday, September 11, at 11.30a.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, donations if desired will be shared between Church funds and Macmillan Cancer Care (plate in church). Will friends please meet at the church.
