SYKES John, of Hexham (formerly of Etherley, Bishop Auckland), died peacefully on January 7, aged 81 years. Beloved husband of Jane, much loved father of Penny and Jonathan, a dearest grandad of Summer, Olive, Louis and Nicholas and a dear friend to many. Would friends please meet for service at All Saints' Church, Darlington on Monday January 22, at 2.30pm., followed by private family cremation. No flowers by request please. Donations, if desired for Parkinson's UK may be sent c/o Seaton Leng & Son Ltd, 59a Bondgate, Darlington DL3 7JR.
