GREEN Peacefully at Nightingale Hall, Richmond,after a long and difficult illness, latterly of Richmond and formerly of Grinton in Swaledale. Meriol (nee Burdon) aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Sam, very dear mother of Alan, Jeff and the late Derek, a loving grandma and dear sister. Funeral Service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Monday April 9, at 11.15am. Family flowers only please, however donations in memory of Meriol would be appreciated for Parkinson's UK, which may be given at the service or forwarded to Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks. DL11 6HL.
