THWAITES On March 29 (peacefully at The Millings Care Home, Bedale) of Brookside, Thornton Rust in Wensleydale. Fred aged 85 years. Dearly loved and treasured husband of the late Daisy, very dear brother of the late Ernest, a much loved brother-in-law, uncle and friend to so many. A private service of committal is to be held at Darlington Crematorium. However a Service of Thanksgiving for Fred's Life will be held at St. Andrew's Church, Aysgarth on Thursday, April 12 at 1:30p.m, to which all are very welcome. Donations in memory of Fred, in lieu of flowers, would be appreciated for Cancer Research UK and St. Andrew's Church and may be given at the service or forwarded to Simon Barningham, Manor Farm, Grinton, Richmond, North Yorks. DL11 6HL.
