CRELLEN George Thompson (formerly of Whitehaven) Former Staff Sergeant Royal Corps of Signals. Died peacefully in hospital after a long illness aged 82 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean, father of Christopher and Philip, grandad to Thomas and Matthew and great-grandad to Albie. Service to take place at Darlington Crematorium at 2.15pm, on Monday, July 30. Family flowers only, donations in lieu if so desired to the War Memorials Trust.
