CARTER Shirley August 29, 2018, aged 88 years, Shirley Carter of Bedale (formerly of West Tanfield and Ainderby Steeple), loving wife of the late Canon Paul Carter. Service of Thanksgiving will take place at St Nicholas' Church, West Tanfield on Friday, September 21 at 1.00pm. If desired, donations in memory for St Nicholas' Church, St Helen's Church, Ainderby Steeple and Dales Care. Plate provided at the service.
